Who exactly is this independent entity that might confirm the authenticity of all these internet videos? I know of course that the journalists are talking about themselves, but for me this underlines the general question of how authentic a image or a story can ever be.
I do think that these videos are extremely valuable during the course of these very justified uprisings, but we should be cautious on how we do approach news and how we try to put them into perspective.
